Biography
Dr. Pranali Mandaokar is an Assistant Professor of Business Communication and Information Systems in the College of Business at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€“Eau Claire. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology and Masters in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio, an M.Tech. in Computer Science from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, and a B.Sc. from MIT Academy of Engineering, Pune.
Her research focuses on cybersecurity, misinformation harms, crisis communication, and disaster management, integrating behavioral, computational, and data-driven methods such as natural language processing and machine learning. Her work has been published in IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing and presented at AMCIS, IFIP, and HITS conferences.
Dr. Mandaokar serves as Managing Editor for Information Systems Frontiers, reviewer for top IS outlets, and coordinator for the Workshop on AI–Information Assurance Nexus (WaIIaNE). Her teaching interests include cybersecurity, data analytics, and business programming.
