Paul J. Hoff has taught courses in Spanish and language education at UW-Eau Claire since 1990. His responsibilities have included teaching all levels of Spanish and methods courses for future language teachers. He is a frequent presenter at professional conferences and an ACTFL certified Oral Proficiency Tester of Spanish who regularly conducts and rates Oral Proficiency Interviews (OPIs) for Language Testing International.
Lisa Lee, Ed.D., serves as Academic Coordinator of the Intensive English Program. She teaches ESL and U.S. Multiculturalism courses and advises IEP and ESL students. She also designs student-centered curricula to support multilingual learners’ academic success.

Marcela Depiante earned her Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Connecticut in 2000. Her research focuses on comparative syntax and morphology within the Generative framework, with particular emphasis on ellipsis and other anaphoric phenomena in both Romance languages and English.
