Explore Dance at UW-Eau Claire

Intro

The dance curriculum includes courses in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, as well as dance appreciation and musical theatre dance styles. Blugolds from across many disciplines have the opportunity to study and perform dance as a part of their campus experience. Our annual dance concert, Confluence Dance Project, is performed in the JAMF Theatre at the Pablo Center, with choreography and dance film by students and faculty.

Through dance courses offered within the UWEC Dance Certificate, there are many opportunities for students to explore dance in Haas Fine Arts Center's Studio 190.

Each spring, the best of dance at the �鶹��Ƶ Eau Claire takes the JAMF Theatre stage in the . Showcasing faculty and student choreography and dance film, the Confluence Dance Project offers an array of choreographic works. For two nights only, see the exciting works and enjoy the breadth of talent presented by the UWEC Dance Program.

JAMF Theatre

JAMF Theatre is the largest hybrid black-box theatre in the Midwest and one of the nation's five largest of its kind. Among U.S. universities that offer undergraduate theatre programs exclusively, UW-Eau Claire is the only school to have a flexible performance space of this kind. With this blank slate, Blugolds can let their creativity flow and push design boundaries.
