Just south of the university’s Upper Campus is a 40-acre tract now known as the Bollinger Fields, renamed during the summer of 1998 in honor of Blugold Hall of Famer and former Assistant Chancellor Jim Bollinger. The site includes four softball fields, three soccer fields, a baseball field and a rugby field. At Bollinger, the softball team plays at at the main softball field and baseball games are frequently held at the baseball diamond.

Recent improvements include:
• Baseball Field #6 was re-skinned
