At the heart of student advocacy and governance at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ-Eau Claire, the Student Senate stands as a testament to the power of student leadership. Student Senate works diligently to voice and address the collective interests and concerns of students.

The Student Senate operates under the guidance of the Dean of Students Office, allowing students to have their voices heard. Involvement in Student Senate or any of its ten commissions allows students an opportunity to gain leadership experience and build connections. Through becoming a Student Senator or joining one of Student Senate’s commissions, senators and commission members are given the opportunity to represent all of the university’s students. From policy making and advocacy to fund allocations and informational newsletters, Student Senate is dedicated to advancing the priorities of the student body and promoting student engagement, leadership, and the continuous pursuit of excellence in all aspects of student life.
